When made with extra virgin coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil or another cold-pressed oil, the Oyster Mushroom Croquettes stay healthy, super tasty and deliciously crispy. For the best results, we recommend deep-frying them. You can also use an Air Fryer, oven or pan to prepare these croquettes. However, they might not be as crispy as when deep-fried. A tip for getting that golden colour when using an Air Fryer, oven or pan: dip the Oyster Mushroom Croquettes in tomato juice before baking or frying them.
Fry in clean frying oil at 175°C.
Fry for approx. 3.5 minutes when thawed, 7 to maximum 9 minutes when frozen.
Make sure that the products do not touch each other while frying them.
Do not cook the products half-thawed.
Never exceed the baking time and temperature.
Avoid preparing too many croquettes at once.
We recommend 3 croquettes per litre of frying oil.
Don’t shake the deep-fry basket.
For best results, let the croquettes rest for 2 to 3 minutes after deep-frying them.
Hot Air Oven:
Heat to 200°C.
Bake the still frozen product for 12-15 min.
Always pre-heat the oven.
Turn the product regularly.
Frying in the Pan:
Put 1 to 2 cm of oil in a pan. Put on high heat.
Fry the still frozen product for 7-9 min.
Oil should stay hot, turn the product regularly.
Heat to 200°C.
Fry the still frozen product for 11-14 min.
Max 3 pieces at once.
Always pre-heat the Air Fryer.
