At Bertyn we love to play with our recipes for the various seitan types and flavours. Trade fairs, cooking demonstrations, reviews and spontaneous reactions all help us to understand what people think of our products, what they expect and what their experiences are. The result of all this is that we have recently made our Teriyaki Protein Tops and Gula Java Chili Protein Tops even more delicious! Now available for you to try.
So what did we change? The sauce is still full of delicious and 100% organic ingredients, every one of them carefully selected, but now both varieties contain 50% less sugar. We noticed that when we used less sugar, the flavours of the other ingredients were brought to the fore, while the sweetness of the coconut blossom sugar was still perfectly evident.
The packaging for both our Teriyaki Protein Tops and our Gula Java Chili Protein Tops has been resized, making it easier to hold and more sustainable in terms of transporting. We have opted to replace the 400 gram package with a 200 gram package, which is perfect for a meal for two.
The Bertyn Protein Tops is made of delicious strips of high-protein seitan. Combine Bertyn Protein Tops with salads, noodles or rice. Or use it in a wrap or on a taco, topped with vegetables, grated cheese and nachos. Bertyn is the tastiest meat and fish substitute.
